Ask About The Mouse is simply a fan site created by a guy who fell in love with the parks after taking his family to Walt Disney World. Finding good and current information on the web was a bit of a challenge in planning that first trip, and while many great Disney sites have evolved and emerged since, this is an alternative way for users to ask and answer Disney related questions about the parks and their history.

The concept for this website comes from the success of StackOverflow, a Q&A website for programmers to ask programming related questions.

One main strength of StackOverflow (and what will hopefully be the strength of Ask About The Mouse) is the ability of it's community members to share their expertise with others in providing great answers to Disney questions - quickly. This site will only ever be as strong as the commitment of it's community to help others.

At the current time Ask About The Mouse is self funded, but may need to look for outside sources of revenue to help pay for the site in the future.
