I'm looking to make some last minute ADRs (advanced dining reservations) for an upcoming "surprise" trip to Walt Disney World. Any ideas for places where I might have some luck getting a reservation?

Close to the Magic Kingdom try: Grand Floridian Cafe Close to Animal Kingdom try: Sanaa (at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village) In Epcot try: Restaurant Marekesh(Moroccan) Depending on the size of your group Sci Fi Dine In Theater at Hollywood studios. Tables for two can usually get in without too much of a wait |

We've always had good luck getting in at Restaurant Marrakesh (EPCOT World Showcase) with short notice. Great food. Great atmosphere. I recommend the Roast Lamb Meshoui :) |

If you make your ADRs for lunch time, you will have better luck in securing them. I would try the Italy restaurant in Epcot. We have had luck there, and also, you can usually obtain a reservation at the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian resort without too much trouble. If the parks are all booked, give the various resorts a try. If you eat somewhere on the monorail, it won't be so difficult to get back to Epcot or MK. |

TouringPlans.com studied each restaurant in Walt Disney World and wrote a great blog post about how far in advance ADRs need to generally be made at each one. Awesome information! |
